Miss Supranational South Africa Terms and Conditions 2026 – 2027

1.1. The Miss Supranational South Africa licence is held by Mrs. South Africa Pty Ltd, which is a Proprietary Limited Company incorporated within South Africa, with a Board of Directors and the following details:

1.2. Company Registration Number: 2012/180612/07

1.3. Trademark Number: 2014/29721

1.4. VAT Number: 4840266243

1.5. BEE Status: Level Four BEE Contributor (EME – BBEE/MSBP2014/01)

1.6. Mrs. South Africa Pty Ltd is NOT a Charity, NOR a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO), NOR is it a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). Therefore, Mrs. South Africa is NOT authorised to issue Section 18A tax certificates for any payments made to it

1.7. The Miss Supranational South Africa licence is held by Mrs. South Africa Pty Ltd and as such the Mrs South Africa team will be managing and facilitating the 2026/2027 pageant, hereafter referred to as the “Organisation and/or “Management Team”

1.8. The Organisation has an all-female Board of Directors who ensures the highest standards of corporate governance, ethical leadership, transparency, and accountability, across the Organisation

1.9. The Organisation is committed to full compliance with all applicable South African laws & regulations and conducts its affairs with professionalism and integrity

1.10. The Organisation operates primarily on a sponsorship-based business model. This means the Organisation partners with other businesses and/or Organisations that provide financial support (i.e. sponsorship) in exchange for exposure, advertising or other benefits

1.11. The Organisation also generates its income through its official events

1.12. The income from sponsorship and events is used to cover:

1.12.1. The Development Program: The program that provides contestants with the resources, tools, training and support needed to grow and develop, throughout the competition

1.12.2. Training and upskilling for contestants: Workshops, webinars, and other education opportunities aimed at improving contestants’ skills, whether in their personal development, business acumen or any other specific area related to the competition

1.12.3. Operational costs: Day-to-day expenses of running the program including staffing, and other Organisational overheads

1.12.4. Event costs: Expenses related to hosting official events such as venues etc.

1.12.5. Production costs: Covers the filming, editing, and associated technical requirements etc., of official events

 

2. The Programme

2.1. The Organisation and Management Team prides itself on professionalism and transparency

2.2. Therefore, the Miss Supranational SA journey requirements are outlined, in detail, up front to all contestants

2.3. Contestants are then able to make an informed decision on whether to enter the pageant or not – fully informed about the journey they have chosen to embark on

2.4. The programme places a strong emphasis on developing life skills and business acumen that extend far beyond the pageant journey

2.5. This development program is delivered through a structured annual program and ultimately curriculum designed specifically for contestants, providing ongoing opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and professional advancement

2.6. Contestants are exposed to a wealth of knowledge from the Organisation, its official sponsors, its’ affiliates and other subject matter experts, throughout the journey

2.7. The Management Team provides regular ongoing support to the contestants including but not limited to: Workshops, Webinars, one-on-one sessions & calls, Support Sessions, PR support and press releases; Social Media support and coaching; Upskilling and much more

2.8. The Management Team provides extensive training, upskilling workshops and regular webinars, to contestants, on becoming successful influencers, brand ambassadors and entrepreneurs

2.9. The Management Team provides the platform to its contestants, which they can leverage to build their own brand, and the contestants recognise and understand the nature of the platform

2.10. The Management Team provides continuous guidance and mentorship to contestants, throughout their journey, in order to achieve said targets

2.11. The Management Team also endeavours to work one-on-one with its contestants

2.12. The Management Team works with all contestants to allow them the maximum time possible to achieve their targets and requirements

2.13. The Management Team provides its contestants with tools such as professional sponsorship proposals, media kits, for them to use in approaching companies and media in order to achieve their targets

2.14. The Management Team will provide access to other sources of support to the contestants, including but is not limited to the Management Team, modelling schools, coaches, speakers and other subject matter experts etc.

2.15. Contestants may be exposed to official charity organisations and other various community projects throughout the year

2.16. Contestants will have the opportunity to effect change within their communities, through the Miss Supranational SA platform

 

3. Contestant’s Requirements

Contestants including Semi-finalists and Finalists are required to meet specific requirements and targets, through the various phases of the competition. These requirements include:

3.1. Contestants should uphold the ethos and values of Miss Supranational SA, the Organisation and its brand

3.2. Contestants must be a positive brand ambassador for Miss Supranational SA, the Organisation and its pageant, its’ official sponsors as well as ensure maximum and positive publicity for same

3.3. Contestants should be professional and accommodating to the Management Team, its official sponsors and their reasonable requirements

3.4. Finalists are required to secure a Gold Sponsorship towards their journey in the competition as part of the Organisation’s upskilling and development programme. The Organisation will provide Finalists with the relevant professional tools, mentorship, guidance and support to assist them in identifying and securing such sponsorship.

3.5. The Organisation limits the gold sponsorship amounts, that Finalists will raise towards their journey, to ensure all contestants enter judging on all equal footing. Ultimately, the Miss Supranational SA crown is not for sale

3.6. Finalists must sell tickets to the Miss Supranational SA official events

3.7. Finalists will be involved in the promotion of the Miss Supranational SA Official Sponsors, particularly on social media

3.8. The Semi-finalists will bear the cost of her travel, accommodation, meals, outfits, hair and makeup, throughout her journey as a Semi-finalist as there are many contestants at this stage

3.9. The Organisation endeavours to cover the accommodation and meals during the Finalist stage of the competition, subject to sponsorship

3.10. Travel will be to the Semi-finalist’s and Finalist’s own cost throughout the journey

3.11. The costs associated with the Winner’s official activities, including, local & international travel, accommodation and applicable international licence and/or participation fees, will be covered by the Organisation and/or its sponsors

3.12. The Contestant acknowledges that all travel (both local and abroad) in relation to this Agreement is to her own account and is done so at the contestant’s own risk

3.13. Contestants acknowledge and understand that any monies paid to the Organisation, prior to resignation or withdrawal is non-refundable at any stage, subject to the provisions of prevailing South African Law

 

4. The Miss Supranational SA Competition

Miss Supranational SA contestants progress through the following phases of the competition for 2026/2027:

4.1. Entry Phase:  For this year, entries open on 1st October 2026 and close on 31st October 2026. Entries will be screened by the Management Team to ensure they meet the minimum requirements. No late entries will be allowed

4.2. Selection Phase: Contestants who meet the entry requirements will be screened and fifty (50) Semi-finalists will be chosen on Monday 2nd November 2026

4.3. Semi-finalist phase: Due to the timing, the semi-finalist phase will shorter this year. Semi-finalist Judging will take place during Monday 9th – Thursday 12th November 2027 in Johannesburg, Gauteng. More information is noted below.

4.4. Finalist Phase: Twenty-five (25) finalists will be announced on Thursday 12th November 2027. The finalist phase will then run from November 2026 until March 2027

4.5. Crowning: The Grand Finale (Crowning) will take place Thursday 11th – Saturday 13th March 2027, in Johannesburg, Gauteng, where the new titleholders, including the new Miss Supranational SA, will be chosen from the pool of finalists

4.6. For the official events, during each phase of the competition for 2026 – 2027 is highlighted on the official calendar of events

4.7. The Organisation reserves the right to alter its calendar of official events annually. The above phases will change for the next entry cycle, and more information will follow when entries open then.

 

5. Miss Supranational SA Judging Process

5.1. The Organisation and its’ pageant follows a strictly audited Judging process, overseen seen by independent auditors, PKF Johannesburg

5.2. PKF Johannesburg verify that the Judging processes are fair, impartial and in accordance with the high standards required for Judging

5.3. PKF Johannesburg will oversee the judging processes at Semi-finals November 2026 and Finals (Pageant week) in March 2027

5.4. The scoring and judging for Semi-finals and Finals will be discussed and outlined, in detail, with the contestants, in advance

5.5. Semi-finals Judging in November 2026 will include an:

  1. Interview score;
  2. Swimwear score and
  3. A Score for Onstage performance, including eveningwear

5.6. Final Judging in March 2027 will include an:

5.6.1. Interview score;

5.6.2. Swimwear score; and

5.6.3.  A score for Onstage performance, including eveningwear; and

5.6.4. A Journey administration score

5.7. Contestants are required to model in Swimwear in line with international pageantry regulations of Miss Supranational

5.8. Contestants are permitted to wear wraps or sarongs should they wish to do so, for their own comfort

5.9. Separate to the Official Judging Processes noted above, some Special Category Awards may be awarded at the Grand Finale such as Miss Public Choice, Miss Personality, Miss Photogenic etc

5.10. The Winners (New Titleholders) will be chosen by an Independent Selection Committee of esteemed Judges

5.11. The Selection Committee (Judges) will be announced to the contestants ahead of the Judging dates

5.12. Contestants will sign a judging acknowledgement form prior to Semi-final and Final Judging, confirming they agree to and freely submit to the stipulated Judging Processes & Terms & Conditions

5.13. Contestants understand that the Selection Committee (Judges) will not be influenced by the Organisation, Management Team or its official sponsors, vendors, production team, designers or any other affiliate

5.14. Contestants understand that no other scores and/or results will be made available, at any stage, even in future, other than those results announced to the public, at the Finalist announcement in November 2026 and/or at the Grand Finale/Crowning in March 2027

5.15. Contestants understand and agree that the Management Team will not enter into correspondence with her, or with any third party acting on her behalf, regarding any aspect of the Judging processes.

5.15. Accordingly, the contestant understands and agrees that there is no right of appeal against the results or outcome of the Judging processes, at any stage, including in the future

5.16. The Contestant agrees to conduct herself in a professional and respectful manner in relation to Miss Supranational, the Organisation, the Selection Committee (Judges), official sponsors, affiliates, vendors- both during and after Pageant Week.

5.17. The Contestant shall not make or publish any defamatory, knowingly false, malicious or deliberately misleading statements concerning the Organisation, Management Team, the Selection Committee (Judges), official sponsors, official charities or any affiliate – whether on social media, WhatsApp, in print, online, through broadcast media or on any other public or digital platform about Miss SA Supranational SA and/or its judging process

5.18. The new titleholders, including the Winner of the Miss Supranational SA, will be contracted to the Organisation for the duration of their reign, commencing upon their crowning and continuing until the next crowning and/or, where applicable, until the completion of their participation in an international pageant

5.19. Miss Supranational SA, herself, will become a brand ambassador for the official sponsors, in due course

5.20. The new titleholders including the Winner of Mrs. South Africa Pageant wins a substantial prize package and all her expenses, during her year of reign, including competing internationally, will be covered

5.21. Contestants understand and acknowledge that all prizes are subject to sponsorship, which may vary or change from one competition cycle to the next or annually

 

6. The International Pageant

6.1. The Organisation holds the exclusive licence, in South Africa, to Miss Supranational

6.2. This means any woman wishing to compete at this international pageant will need to enter and place in the Miss Supranational SA first, in order to be considered to represent South Africa at Miss Supranationa

6.3. The Organisation covers the international licence fee and air travel for the Winner to represent South Africa at Miss Supranational

The Organisation will provide extensive support in preparation for the international competition in 2027, including training and preparation of the required gowns and costumes

6.4. The Organisation’s CEO will accompany the Winner to the international pageant

6.5. A contestant may not enter or cause herself to be entered into participation of Miss Supranational international without the aid and permission of the Organisation

6.6. Contestants may not participate in any other pageant or competition that conflicts with Miss Supranational SA, during her time as a contestant and/or Winner7. Entry Requirements for Miss Supranational SA

While the Organisation does screen and conduct the relevant checks, it is the contestant’s responsibility to check and ensure compliance with the criteria required.

 

7. Eligibility Requirements

The following pre-requisites must be fulfilled by a contestant in order to enter Miss Supranational SA:

7.1. Age
The contestant must be between 18 and 32 years of age, inclusive, during the 2027 competition year. The contestant may not turn 33 years of age during the 2027 competition year.

7.2. Marital Status
The contestant must be unmarried (i.e. a “Miss”) at the time of entry. The contestant may not be married at the time of entry or at any time during the 2027 competition year. A contestant who has previously been divorced is eligible to enter, provided that she is not currently married.

7.4. Gender as Recorded on Official Documentation: The contestant must be recorded as female on all official identification & legal documentation.

7.5. South African Passport: The contestant ideally should hold a valid South African passport when entering. If the contestant does not currently hold a valid South African passport, she must apply for and obtain one as soon as reasonably possible after entering. This is because a valid South African passport will be required for international travel should she win Miss Supranational SA.

7.6. Modelling or Pageant Experience
No prior modelling or pageant experience is required.

7.7. Height and Weight: There is no minimum or maximum height or weight requirement.

7.8. Educational Qualifications: There is no minimum educational qualification required.

7.9. Tattoos: Contestants may have tattoos.

7.10. Previous entry into Miss Supranational International: Candidates who have previously competed at international, may return to participate once again after a two (2) year period. As such candidates who have previously competed in Miss Supranational SA may return to participate once again after two (2) years

7.11. Should the entrant be selected as a Finalist in 2026/2027, she will be required to avail herself on all compulsory dates, as indicated on the Official Calendar. The format and details of these compulsory event dates will be outlined to Finalists

7.12. While the Organisation celebrates and supports family values and does not discriminate against pregnancy, contestants should not be, nor become, pregnant during the Miss Supranational SA journey. This is because participation in the programme and international competitions is physically demanding and could pose risks to both the contestant and the unborn child. The health and well-being of both remain a priority for the Management Team and Organisation

7.13. The contestant must not have been involved in any past or present activities (whether public or private) that may place the Organisation, its Pageant and/or organisers in a compromised and/or humiliating light. These activities include, but are not limited to criminality and/or prostitution and/or pornography. Should this come to light, the Organisation reserves the right to withdraw the contestant, with immediate effect

7.14. The contestant must not have a past or present criminal record and/or be involved in any criminality – of any kind. Should this come to light, the Organisation reserves the right to withdraw the contestant, with immediate effect

7.15. The contestant must not be an immediate family member of the Management Team

7.16. Certified documents may be requested, at any stage, by the Organisation, to verify the contestant’s eligibility to participate in the pageant

7.17. Should a contestant not meet the above requirements, she may be withdrawn with immediate effect

 

8. Contestant Conduct and Disqualification

The Organisation reserves the right to withdraw any contestant, at any stage and may choose to exercise this right under the following circumstances:

8.1. The contestant has been found to not meet the entry requirements

8.2. The contestant’s conduct, public image, or general behaviour is not aligned with the values, vision, or professional expectations of the Miss Supranational SA brand

8.3. The contestant becomes unduly difficult to manage, uncooperative, or otherwise poses a significant challenge to effective management

8.4. The Organisation affirms its commitment to non-discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other status protected by South African law. As a public figure and a brand ambassador, contestants may not in any form, discriminate against, including but not limited to, any creed, race, sexual orientation, gender, religion, disability or political Organisation. The Organisation reserves the right to withdraw any contestant who does not align to its values in this regard

8.5. The contestant has been found to be using bullying, cyber-bullying, defamation or intimidation tactics or any other behaviour not deemed to be aligned to the Organisation’s ethos and values, within the Organisation or in public, will be disqualified with immediate effect

8.6. The contestant who spread negative rumours, incite fear and unwarranted anxiety in other contestants, or create any type of negative publicity

8.7. Any form of negative allegations, proven true, or negative publicity generated by a contestant could result in immediate disqualification

8.8. The contestant has been involved in any past activities that may place the Pageant and/or the Organisation in a compromised and/or humiliating light both publicly and/or privately. These activities include but are not limited to criminality and/or prostitution and/or pornography. Should this come to light, the Organisation and Management Team reserves the right to withdraw the contestant, with immediate effect

8.9. The contestant has a criminal record and/or is involved in any criminality of any kind. Should this come to light, the Organisation and Management Team reserves the right to withdraw the contestant, with immediate effect

8.10. The contestant fails to meet the contractual requirements, to proceed to Judging

8.11. The contestant has not been contactable for a period for four (4) weeks

8.12. The Organisation may replace contestants who resign from the pageant, at any stage of the pageant, at its sole discretion, and in consultation with Judges and Official Auditors

8.13. Various factors are considered when a replacement contestant is selected, including but not limited to the ranking of the individual, as per the latest available judging results. Other factors may impact the selection as well including the individual’s prior achievements in the pageant

The Organisation reserves the right to conduct background checks on any contestant, in accordance with the prevailing South African laws. Finalists & Titleholders acknowledge all terms and conditions, entry terms and conditions, as well as Privacy Policy, as per Organisation’s website. The Contestant commits to adhere to and meet all the above terms and conditions.

The contestants’ personal data will be processed in accordance with Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) and the Organisation’s Privacy Policy

 

9. The Entry Process For 2026 – 2027

All Entrants are required to complete the entry form online, attach the required documents and pay the entry fee. Entries will close on Saturday 31st October 2026 at 17h00 (South African time). No late entries will be accepted.

9.1.  Completing the Entry Form

In order to enter, entrants will need to complete all three (3) steps:
9.1.1.   Complete the online entry form, in full

9.1.2.  Attach all the following documents to the entry form:

  • Valid South African ID and/or Passport; and
  • One (1) head and shoulders and one (1) full length photo.

9.1.3. Pay the non-refundable entry fee of R347 which includes 15% VAT, via debit or credit card, at the end of the application online

9.1.4. Once the online entry form is completed and payment is made, entrants will receive an automated email, from the system, confirming their entry

9.1.5. Thereafter, email communication will follow from the Management Team, which will outline the next steps of the entry process

9.1.6. A valid operational email address must be provided, in order for the Management Team to communicate with all entrants

9.1.7. The Organisation will not be held responsible for communications not received due to an in-operational email address

9.1.8. The act of completing and submitting the online entry form constitutes a binding agreement confirming the entrant has read and acknowledged all the terms and conditions

9.2. Entry Photos

9.2.1. Entrants must attach two (2) clear, high resolution photos to their online application

9.2.2. This must be one (1) full length photo and one (1)  head and shoulders photo
9.2.3. The entrant should be dressed elegantly against a plain background.

9.2.4. Photos must be recent and high-resolution. No selfies, gym wear, group photos, or social media screenshots.
9.2.5. Should an entrant require assistance with entry photographs, we recommend contacting our Official Photographers, based in Gauteng, who may assist. *This is optional to utilise:

9.4.1. More detailed information will be follow with all entrants, semi-finalists and finalists

9.4.2. Given the numbers of Semi-finalists,  travel, accommodation, meals, outfits, hair and makeup are to the Semi-finalist’s own account, at this stage of the competition

9.4.3. The Organisation endeavours to cover the accommodation and meals during the Finalist stage of the competition, subject to sponsorship

9.4.4 Travel will be to the Semi-finalist’s and Finalist’s own cost throughout the journey

9.4.5. The costs associated with the Winner’s official activities, including, local & international travel, accommodation and applicable international licence and/or participation fees, will be covered by the Organisation and/or its sponsors

9.4.6. Third parties are not allowed: Contestant’s family, friends, sponsors, personal sponsors, personal hair, personal makeup, personal stylists, personal assistants, partners, children, parents, personal designers, personal press/media, personal publicists, personal videographers, personal photographers, personal social media staff or similar, will NOT be allowed at the Organisation’s Judging venues and/or workshop venues and/or rehearsals and/or backstage in theatre, at any stage

9.6. Queries
