Mrs SA Official Mentorship Panel 2025
The Official Mentorship panel was established in response to the contestant’s need for more in depth advice and guidance from women with experience in the industry. Mentors are there to act primarily as pageant coaches, as well as provide emotional support to contestants throughout the journey. Mentorship is optional and therefore it is not compulsory for contestants to utilise. Contestants may use one or many of the mentors listed below, at any stage of their journey.
While aligned to our brand pillar of Network, this program runs independently from Mrs. South Africa Pty Ltd. Mentors are reimbursed for their time and expertise directly. All mentor bookings are made and managed directly with the mentor themselves. Mrs. South Africa does not receive any financial benefit from the program.

Cathy Heaton is 47 and lives in Fourways, Johannesburg. She is the mother of two grown sons. She is an award-winning makeup artist and published photographer with two best-selling pregnancy and baby journals. Cathy holds the title of 2nd Princess Mrs South Africa ‘15, Mrs South Africa Classique ‘24 and 2nd Princess Mrs Globe Classique ‘24. Cathy is a very successful pageant coach and is proud that many of her mentees have won national and international titles. She has studied towards a BA Communications, Professional Makeup Diploma, Social Media Consulting and Life Coaching Certification. Her passions lie in marketing, makeup, photography, social media, styling, networking, interview preparation and strategies, brand building and creating pageant campaigns. Cathy is a women empowerment coach hosting monthly workshops as the Director of ACE Models JHB North and focuses on helping women reach their full potential and becoming the best versions of themselves. She also hosts weekly class for younger models and has won ACE Models New Franchise of the Year 2019, ACE Models Franchise of the Year 2021 and 2023 and ACE Models Director of the Year 2022.

These experiences taught her how powerful it is to connect with your industry, community, and support network. As your mentor, she aims to guide you in building these valuable connections to help you achieve your goals. She is there to show you how to leverage your unique strengths, reach out to those around you, and open doors that might have seemed out of reach. Léchar Knezovich holds a Master’s in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor’s in Marketing, embodying a blend of academic excellence and practical expertise. As Mrs. South Africa 2nd Princess 2023 and Social Media Award winner, she excels in relationship-building and content creation for top brands. Starting her modelling career at 16, she now co-directs Ace Models Rosebank, earning the Ace New Director of the Year Award. She leads Perfect Fit, a bra brand empowering women and restoring confidence in breast cancer survivors and hosts the podcast Build a Business SA. Léchar inspires entrepreneurial growth and helps others discover their unique voice. She is known amongst her mentees to ignite their purpose and give strategic brand ideas.

Marelize is an Aesthetician, professional make-up artist and entrepreneur. She holds a degree in Advance Dermal Science (Cum Laude) from Isa Carstens Academy. She owns her own aesthetic skin care clinic in George. She started modelling at the age of 15, was crowned Miss SA 1993 2nd Runner-up and won Mrs SA 2002. She celebrates her 40th year in the industry and will be representing SA at the Mrs Globe Classique in Palm Springs, California in June 2025. She has extensive experience from being an international model, beauty queen, to managing Storm Models as well as being a kykNET & MNET TV presenter. “I believe I have the ability to see potential in everyone I meet. She is the founder and director of Tshego Gaelae Attorneys, a boutique legal consultancy specializing in Labour Relations, B-BBEE Compliance, and Commercial Agreements. Tshego is also a professional public speaker and Master of Ceremonies, known for her ability to connect with diverse audiences. Crowned Mrs. South Africa 2024, she represents the strength and diversity of South African married women. Tshego will proudly represent South Africa at the Mrs. World pageant on 30th January 2025.Beyond her professional and pageant accomplishments, Tshego is a devoted wife and mother who balances her multifaceted roles with grace, purpose, and passion by empowering others.

As the first South Africaneese finalist to secure a top-five placement in Mrs. South Africa 2023, she redefined boundaries of our Rainbow Nation. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communications from Bond University, Australia, and a Postgraduate in Brand Contact Management from Vega, Terisa brings over 22 years of entrepreneurial expertise. She is the director her own cosmetic-beauty brand Ever Beauty SA, a qualified makeup artist specializing in photography and fashion through Joy Terri accredited by The Makeup School of London, and the co-founder of Triple Eight Consultancy Africa, a social development and communications agency. Terisa has been appointed as head of sponsorship for the prestigious SASMA Awards. Terisa is an executive member of various business chambers, an MC, public speaker, host, social media influencer and brand ambassador. Fostering confidence & resilience, Terisa is passionate about mentoring the 2025 Mrs. South Africa Queens, unlocking their strengths to lead with grace and purpose.
