Mrs South Africa should be:
- Between the ages of 25 and 50, on 1st November 2021
- Be legally married (with a valid marriage certificate), with or without children and in a committed and supportive marriage
- Be in possession of a valid South African ID, Passport & Drivers Licence
- Be available for the National Casting on Friday the 12th of March 2021, in Gauteng.
- Please refer to the 2021 calendar and ensure you are available for all compulsory dates.
- All semi-finalists and finalists will have to be involved in various fundraising activities which will be discussed in detail, if chosen as a semi-finalist
- A strong, successful woman
- Well-spoken and intelligent
- Healthy and comfortable in her own skin and body. Although Mrs South Africa is more than just a pretty face, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED to model in swimwear, as per International Pageantry regulations

The Judges’ decision is Final and no correspondence will be entered into by the pageant organizers or by the judges at any time. Entrant acknowledges that there are competition entry fees and agrees to fulfil her obligations with regards to these fees. Entrants understand and acknowledge that all prizes received as finalists and winners are subject to sponsorship.

1. What are the entry criteria for Mrs South Africa?
You must meet all the following criteria in order to enter :
- Be a female South African citizen, with valid South Africa ID document
- Be between the ages of 25 – 50, in the year of entry
- Be legally married, with valid marriage certificate from the Department of Home Affairs
2. When do entries open ?
The entry form will open on our website, in October each year. You must be complete this form in full and attached all the following documents to it : ID, Marriage Certificate, two photos AND proof of payment for the non-refundable entry fee of R606,05
Once all the above steps are completed, you must avail yourself in person, for the National Casting, in order to be considered for a place in the Top 100 Semi-finalists. You can consult the calendar for this date.
3. What photos should I have to enter?
We prefer one full length and one head and shoulder photo. They do not need to professional photos but they must be high resolution photos, with plain backgrounds. We do not suggest using your wedding photos as entry photos, as beautiful as they may be
4. Do you have any weight or height restrictions?
No. We embrace women of all heights, sizes, body shapes etc.

6. Do I need to have a valid passport to enter?
No. You do not need a valid passport to enter but you must apply for it and obtain it as soon as possible. This is because you may travel overseas for the Mrs World pageant, should you win Mrs South Africa
7. Do I need to have my Driver’s license to enter?
No. You do not need a drivers licence to enter. However, you should apply for obtain this as soon as possible. This is because the prize package may include a car
8. I work full time. Can I enter Mrs South Africa?
Yes. We have had many contestants and titleholders who have had full time jobs. The Management Team does take this into account when planning the calendar and always trying to plan around school holidays, long weekends etc. You should consult the calendar for the year ahead and understand the compulsory dates that you will be required to present yourself for an event, judging etc. We then advise that you sit down with your employer to discuss these dates, in advance of entering Mrs South Africa
9. I am traditionally married. Can I enter Mrs South Africa?
Yes. According to South African law, customary or traditional marriages are recognised. We recognise these as well. You do, however, need to apply for and obtain your valid marriage certificate from the Department of Home Affairs. This must be attached when completing your entry form
10. I am engaged. Can I enter Mrs South Africa?
No. You would need to be legally married, with a valid SA marriage certificate, when you enter
11. I am married to a foreigner. Can I enter Mrs South Africa?
Yes. You can enter if YOU are a South African citizen
12. I am married to a female. Can I enter Mrs South Africa?
Yes. You may enter. We recognise all marriages including same sex marriages
13. Do I have to be born female to enter Mrs South Africa ?
No, you do not need to be born female to enter. However, your SA ID document must reflect your amended gender as female
14. What if I am pregnant. Can I enter?
We do not discriminate against pregnant contestants. However, we do not recommend this as the year will be very busy and this may add additional pressure and stress to your health
15. Do I have to be a mother to enter?
No. You do not have to have children to enter
16. What are the minimum educational qualifications to enter?
There are no minimum educational qualifications to enter

Documents such as ID’s, marriage certificates, drivers licences, passports etc are collected during the competition process, for purposes of verifying eligibility to enter, as well as for prize and travel purposes The confidential personal information required for executing our competition processes is stored on a secure platform, namely the User’s personal, contact and address information. Delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to anonymous third parties without initial consent acquired on sign-up. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering any pageant related items or products, where courier services may be required, or in order to promote the user in the realm of professional interest. Credit card details are not collected or stored by the Provider under any circumstances. The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device. The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.
