The new Mrs South Africa to leave for Mrs World

16th September 2016, Johannesburg: Schwarzkopf Professional Mrs South Africa is delighted to announce that the new Mrs South Africa 2017 will depart days after being crowned, to represent her country at the Mrs World competition in Incheon, South Korea on 26th October 2016.

Mrs South Africa (Pty) Ltd has had a record breaking history on the international stage. Candice Abrahams who was crowned Mrs South Africa 2015/6, represented South Africa at the Mrs. World 2016 pageant and competed amongst 40 of the worlds’ most beautiful married women for the title, on the 12th of March 2016 in China, Dongguan, after hypnotizing the international stage with her timeless beauty, radiance and congeniality and she won the Mrs World 2016 title, achieving a personal milestone of being the first South African to be crowned Mrs. World.

Candice Abrahams, who is also the reigning Mrs South Africa, will not only crown her successor on the night of the pageants grand finale but will be traveling with her for Mrs World.

For the last six months the finalists have undergone many workshops which have been focussed on empowering them, in all facets of their life and have worked with the Mrs South Africa’s official charity, CANSA by hosting Cuppa for CANSA’s and raising awareness within their communities about the disease.

The Schwarzkopf professional Mrs South Africa finalists will stay at Emperors Palace for pageant week which runs from 17th – 21st October, preparing for the grand finale show and will be out to impress the celebrity judging panel comprised of: Principal judge, Cindy Nell Roberts (Former Miss South Africa), Vusi Zwane (Emperors Palace Peermont Hotel corporate affairs and corporate social investment executive), Zuraida Jardine (TV and Radio personality) and Joan Madibeng (former Miss South Africa 2003 and business woman).

The grand finale production, on 21st October, will be hosted by Emporers Palace, featuring the sensational Minnie Dlamini as MC for the night, and produced by one of Africa’s leading show producers, Jan Malan. It will feature a star studded guest list of top South African talent and top leading South African designers Werner Dey, Anel Botha, Khosi Nkosi and leading Canadian international clothing brand, Joseph Ribkoff.
